भगवद्गीता ६ - ६ - आपका मन आपका शत्रु या बंधू ?

Bhagwad Gita - 6 - 6 

अर्थात् :-

अध्याय ६ श्लोक ६ (6)

जिसके द्वारा मन जीत लिया गया है, उसके लिए मन उसका बंधू है परन्तु जो जीत नहीं सका, उसके लिए मन शत्रु के समान है| 

Chapter 6 Verse 6 

For him who has conquered the mind, the mind is the best of friends;

but for one who has failed to do so, his mind will remain the greatest enemy.

भगवद्गीता २ - ६३ - क्रोध से शर्वनाश

अर्थात् :-

अध्याय २(2) श्लोक ६३ (63)

क्रोध से सम्मोह, सम्मोह से स्मृति का नाश, स्मृति नाश होने से बुद्धि का नाश और बुद्धी नाश होने से शर्वनाश होता है |
 

Chapter 2 Verse 63 

Anger leads to clouding of judgment, which results in bewilderment of the memory. 

When the memory is bewildered, the intellect gets destroyed; and when the intellect is destroyed,

one is ruined
